Tina Turner’s concert dates have been announced and tickets are on sale. This concert is set to be an exceptional one as Turner has not toured since the year 2000. The eight time Grammy winner has had a career that has spanned four decades and is expected to thrill her many fans with her all time best songs including “We Don’t Need Another Hero”, “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” “The Best”, “Proud Mary” and “Steamy Window.”

The 68 year old pop diva released “Celebrate: The Best of Tina Turner” in fall 2007. This 95 minute DVD was created from a 1999 Tina Turner concert that celebrated none other than her 60th birthday. Tina Turner shows no signs of slowing down as she gears up for a comeback tour in the United States and in one venue in Canada. Recently Turner has announced that she will play London and Manchester in March 2009. These tickets are slated to be on sale as of May 28.

If you don’t get the chance to catch a Tina Turner concert in one city then you might be fortunate to catch it in another. Her tour in the U.S. starts at the Sprint Center on October 1 in Kansas City and ends on December 12 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
