A good advice is to take pain killers an hour before going so that you experience less pain. Once the waxing is finish some lotion will be used in the area that the hair has been pulled. Usually the area will stay smooth for 3 weeks depending on how long your hair grows back.

Always keep your skin protected.
You should wash the area first with a creamy cleanser and then pat it dry. In order to form a protective barrier between the wax and your lovely skin you should put some light dusting powder on your upper lip. The powder will also absorb the remaining moisture in the area.

Next it’s waxing time
You can heat the wax up until it looks like honey. Always before you do any type of waxing test the temperature so that it’s not to hot. You can test it on your inner wrist , if its burning your arm then let it sit out for a while. Once you think the wax is ready you can stretch your skin for better results by rolling your upper lip gently over your teeth. Then begin spreading the wax from the center right under your nose to the corners of your mouth.

Pull
The last part can be the scariest, everything was easy until this point, but you can do it. Once the wax has cooled but is still pliable use one hand to hold down the paper and the other to lift the lower edge. In a quick motion begin pulling the strip off using upward motion. Afterwards you can sooth your skin with Sally Hansen’s soothing aftershave clothes or some form of alcohol-free toner.

If you take pain killers at least an hour before waxing it will minimize the sting

Make the ends of your mouth thicker than in the middle it will make the wax easier to move.

Always wear sunscreen in the waxed area because freshly waxed skin is prone to sun damage.

Removing wax is kind of like removing a band aid; take a deep breath and pull.

Use a ice cube on you face after waxing this will help sooth the skin and remove redness.

Never use waxing products that contain retinoid, they can make your skin extremely sensitive.

When it comes to your eyebrows you want them to always look their best. Eyebrows play a major role in the shaping and appearance of how attractive your face can look. So the better your eyebrows are shaped that better your appearance will be. Everyone has their own methods of shaping their eyebrows, you can choose from threading,( which you can find at your local mall) waxing, tweezed, and just using an old fashion razor.

Although out of all of the choices threading seems to last the longest usually about 2 to 3 weeks depending on how fast they can grow back. Also with treading if you have any unwanted facial hair you can get that done as well. If you’re worried about money none of these procedures should cost more than 20 dollars depending on where you live.
